Siberian Larch Wood Flooring
Siberian larch grows in areas where the temperature is often below 0 degrees for over six months a year. Siberian larch is, therefore, a very slow growing tree. This makes the hardness of this wood species high and so ideally suited, among others, for wood flooring. Siberian larch belongs to the top of the Pine family. The colour varies from straw yellow to reddish-brown. Dead (yet solid) knots can occur in Siberian larch wood flooring.

Grades:
Prime: Small solid knots up to approx. 15 mm and natural shades admissible.
Select: Natural shades of colour and heartwood admissible; minor surface flaws up to 15 mm and solid knots admissible; small hair cracks admissible.
Rustic: Natural shades of colour and heartwood admissible; small enclosed cracks and open flaws admissible; no holes through the planks admissible; open knots on the sides of the plank admissible up to half way along the tongue /grove; hair cracks admissible.
